Class 6C Hosts First Parents' Workshop of the Year
Dosthill Primary Academy recently held its first parents' workshop of the school year, with Class 6C leading the way. The session, which took place in the afternoon, invited parents into the classroom to experience a Reading lesson alongside their children.
Led by Mr. Coleman, the workshop aimed to give parents an insight into how reading is taught at Dosthill. Throughout the session, parents worked together with their children to complete a variety of engaging tasks, fostering both learning and collaboration.
The workshop was a great success, with positive feedback from both parents and students who enjoyed the interactive nature of the lesson. This event marks the beginning of a series of workshops planned for the year, where each class will have the opportunity to welcome parents into school to participate in a lesson.
We look forward to sharing more of these valuable sessions, as we continue to strengthen the home-school partnership and give parents the chance to see the wonderful learning taking place in our classrooms.
