This week, Year 5 celebrated British Science Week by participating in a variety of engaging science activities. All of our activities were linked to this year's theme of 'change and adapt' and included:

• Investigating what happens to different materials if they are flushed down the toilet.
• Planting trees in our school grounds.
• Joining an online live lesson hosted by astronaut Tim Peake.

These activities provided the students with hands-on learning experiences and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. The highlight was undoubtedly the live lesson with Tim Peake, which inspired and captivated the children.
